Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 120 days in jail for Violation of Probation, reduced cargo theft

Lindsay Lohan took a break yesterday when the major felony theft charge against him was reduced to a misdemeanor by Judge Stephanie Sautner.

The judge found that the nature of the alleged offense and the value of the necklace in question simply did not warrant a felony charge. Ugh, right?

Of course, LiLo is still on probation for his 2007 DUI arrest, and Sautner was much less forgiving in this regard. She was sentenced to 120 days in county jail!

Lindsay has been remanded in custody and taken to the courthouse basement can be booked. She is allowed to post bail pending an appeal of the sentence.

This is Lohan, who has been down this road many times before and was well prepared. She posted $ 75,000 bail and was back on the street within hours.

LiLo was also ordered to complete 480 hours of community service for the offense, 360 of which must take place in Downtown Los Angeles Women's Center.

There, Lindsay can see how women really need who live in this society. The remaining 120 hours of service will be held at the county morgue in Los Angeles.

So it's free for now, but expect to lose that appeal and get back to Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, soon. Here's why ...

At a preliminary hearing on charges of grand larceny, the judge ruled Lindsay should have called the store and notified the owner on the collar before.

She waited several weeks and returned the necklace by a subordinate only after the police discovered they were about to raid his home. Quite bleak.

Sautner seemed influenced by the surveillance video of Lindsay Lohan, who was first seen in court, and showed something suspicious was going on.

Deputy d.Ä. Danette Meyers said his friend Patrick Lindsay used as a decoy to distract the clerk while stealing the necklace valued at $ 2.500.

Lohan denies this and has pleaded not guilty. While a jury of his peers may agree, a judge has the sole authority to decide on parole violations.

Lohan turned down a plea deal that would have reached three months (reduced to less than one with good behavior) and finished it this week. Duro.

So here we are. Probably, this was a way to ensure that Lohan has the time no matter what happens in the trial itself - and probably better.
