Born on the March 4th, 1980, Kamilini Mukherji acted in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada Movies. Her big success in Telugu was Godavari, directed by Sekhar Kammula. She had also made apperance in the hit film 'Happy Days'. Her first film was Phir Milenge(2004) which was based on the subject of Aids. It was not a big success, but got recognition with the film 'Anand'.
