National award winning actress and glamour heroine Priyamani condemned the gossips that she is playing a negative role in Raavan directed by Mani Ratnam. She claims that the character would not be that bad as has been predicted by the audiences.Her recent release Drona bumped at the box office, she was happy at her role in this film.
She says, “Though the film was a dud commercially, everyone identified me in the film. Especially my bikini attire got a lot of attention and it has become a hot topic as every journalist cannot resist to question about the dress in that film. I was supposed to appear in such costume as per the demand of the film. Though many heroines have sported bikinis, I am proud of that the costume as it is has assumed significance.’
