Bollywood have come out with only four successful movies during the first half of 2011 like ‘NO ONE KILLED JESSICA’, ‘TANU WEDS MANU’, ‘YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA’ and ‘HAUNTED’. The first three were released at the beginning of the year and ‘HAUNTED’ was released in the fifth month.No doubt that films like ‘DUM MAARO DUM’, ‘THANK YOU’, ‘RAGINI MMS’ and ‘CHALO DILLI’ did get some degree of success at the Box office, but Bollywood is yet to come out with a runaway success.
With new belief and thoughts coming in, all that is about to change with the releases of Indra Kumar’s multistarrer, ‘DOUBLE DHAMAAL’ and Anees Bazmee’s Salman Khan starrer, ‘READY’. Both the films are predicted to hit the Indian Box office with a bang.
The first half of 2011 saw a low success rate in Bollywood films. Despite, IPL and World Cup Cricket, few films did well but there was no real blockbuster. Critics believe that either READY or DOUBLE DHAMAAL may hit box office high.
