Following on from the set in stone, as opposed to ‘we wantto do it’, casting of Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger in ‘substantial’roles in next summer’s Expendables 2; we finally got confirmation that ChuckNorris and Jean Claude Van Damme will definitely be in the film. Now that onehas been all over the internet for months, but as Stallone himself said in the EntertainmentWeekly interview:-
“The one thing I’ve learned is what is a fact on Monday is acomplete fallacy on Tuesday”
That particular quote was in answer to the question of johnTravolta’s involvement in the film. The good news there (unless you’re not aTravolta fan of course) is that Stallone said his involvement was possible,suggesting that he would like him to be in the film. Further to the above quotehe also said that issues around casting are mostly to do with timing...
“A lot of it is scheduling. It’s not financial. It’s justthat Bulgaria is definitely a jaunt. It’s a commitment, you know what I mean?Especially in the dead of winter.”
